The Israeli government has claimed consistently that the reason for the number of civilian deaths in Gaza is because Hamas uses civilians as “human shields”. But the real use of human shields is by the Zionist forces using what they call the “mosquito protocol”. Democracy Now has a good interview about the practice with a former IDF soldier who now heads the Breaking the Silence ngo. Worth watching;
